CareFlite is the only nonprofit ambulance service in Central and North Central Texas, flying a fleet of Bell 429 and Bell 407 helicopters from seven bases including Fort Worth, Dallas, Gainesville, Terrell, Whitney, Burnet and Granbury. Pilot applicants need a minimum of 2,500 flight hours and an ATP certificate.
